My Fair Lady Blue Wedding: The Invitations & some lovely gifts...

Beautiful Hydrangea Blue Save-the-Date by YoursTrulyInvitation a shop I love because so many of their items are inspired by flowers and beauty in nature.
This teacup and saucer offered by SparrowStation.
Fill the cup with some candy and wrap the whole thing in some cellophane and give this gift with a lovely letter to your new mother-in-law thanking her for the wonderful son she raised. If you haven't been trying hard to score points already.. it's time to start!
Some artists work in paint, some in sugar and asuhan and Etsy shop from Turkey works in yarn. I can't get over these shawls if you've noticed my appreciation for them before. They are a thing of great art and beauty. This you should give to your mother.. also with a lovely letter. I wish I had done something like that for my mom. She made my wedding day so beautiful and perfect.

My Fair Lady Blue Wedding: The Bridesmaids...

I can't believe my luck in coming across this gorgeous blue hydrangea vintage dress! It's from FolieAdeuxVintage.

How stunning are these earrings? London Blue Topaz and silver from MadeBySAM...
The hydrangea dress would pair really well on a cool evening with this tiny bolero jacket made custom by Countessa on Etsy.

My Fair Lady Blue Wedding: The Rings...

ArtMasters is a new shop on Etsy that has beautiful designs. I love this ring.
This men's wedding band is from another new jewelry shop on Etsy called ModernHeirloom. I think any man would enjoy this masculine styled ring.
Cameos are usually not my thing, but this one is just so beautiful. It's antique, Jasperware from Wedgwood sold by a lovely shop called BeAtomicBeauty
This is my Salt Lake City LDS Temple trinket box. It would be a great place to keep a ring at your bedside or by the sink when you are doing dishes. Don't lose any of the lovely rings above in the drain for Pete's sake :) LoVeBoXeShoP...
I can usually create the facade of most buildings if you are interested in something custom. Contact me through my Etsy shop.

Wedding in Tuscany: The Cake & The Wedding Cake Toppers...

Did you know that Italian bakers don't really like tall cakes. If you order a cake with thicker rounds that this, they will give it to you stacked with styrofoam... so I'd just go with something simple and lovely like this cake from Brides.com
These are some of the first wedding cake toppers I painted for friends of friends who were married in Italy. But, I can paint you too.. Contact me through my Etsy Shop..
Just one other image I had to post because it's so beautiful. These pillar candles with olive leaves tied around them is an idea from ParisianEvents.com

Wedding in Tuscany: The Bride & Groom...

This crown of flowers works so perfectly with this palette. I had a crown of flowers on my wedding day and I love them... These are from BloomDesignStudio a place with lots of lovely blooming things.
This dress was really fun for me to find because the dress and the model look just like the bride I painted for the Tuscany wedding cake topper. So pretty. The Etsy shop called ThreadHead has a lot of Eco Friendly, beautiful creations in her repertoire and can create custom look for you.
I thought this ring looked Italian and it turned out to be made there so that's as Italian as it gets. :) It's really pretty and unique look from RiordanStudio.
The GROOM: It's amazing what you can find on Etsy... including this Mexican Wedding Shirt from OhSoBoho.. (that's just fun to say!). It's so similar to the one I painted for the wedding cake topper. What a comfortable ensemble to be married in!

Wedding in Tuscany: The Invitations...

AuroraReyes takes photos in Italy and this beautiful picture is the one I had in my mind as I was putting together this Tuscan wedding. I want to see this view in person. Lovely!
LaBelleVieDesign creates these beautiful Save-the-Date cards and if you are having a wedding in Italy, you'll need to give your friends and family some advance notice.
When the date gets a little closer, you can send out this beautiful letterpress invite from LetterpressLight
and when the whole beautiful affair has come to an end and there are only memories left. You can paste your beautiful invitation into THIS gorgeous scrapbook to treasure forever.
From AlbumOptions on Etsy...

Wedding in Tuscany: The Flowers...

To me this bouquet is the epitome of Tuscan charm... but it's not from Italy at all, but was grown just outside the concrete jungle of Washington D.C. by an organic home gardener.
I love Cornflowers... a bunch of these might be tied up for the bridal bouquet or a combination of the flowers above. I love flowers from the garden.

Wedding in Tuscany: The Favors...

One site that I read about a wedding in Tuscany recommended giving very small bottles of gourmet olive oil as gifts to your guests. But, there is the problem of shipping them back if they aren't staying long, have no place to cook.Still, it's a lovely idea, but not something to pack in a suit case... recommend shipping it home.
I also like these lovely soaps... They almost look like beach stones.
They are from Sofiart an Etsy shop located right in Rome.. easy breezy shipping if you are already in Italy :)

Wedding in Tuscany: The Food...

Crostata di Frutta is a traditional wedding cake. THIS is an English version. I don't think I would want to have this for the actual wedding cake, but you certainly could.. it's lovely. But, I would definitely serve it. Decorated with strawberries, it would be a favorite with my family. This Primer is a must read on Italian Wedding Cakes if you are either planning a wedding in Italy or just planning a traditional Italian wedding right where you are.
How about some lovely Biscotti..
This is Gourmet Almond Anise from GiasCreation on Etsy...
This is Panzella a tomato salad with bread crumbs.. it looks delicious! There are more ideas for Tuscan Wedding food HERE... and...

THIS BOOK from The Beautiful series is really fun and will put you right on location looking at beautiful landscapes and recipes. I own Mexico The Beautiful and enjoy looking through it often. These books are beautifully done.

Fairytale Wedding: The Cake...

If you lived in Florida, you would be lucky because you could go find this cake which is also from DaintyDelights, but I think you'd have to pick this up in person. This is a baker that understands my color palette because this is my dream cake and it's so very tiny. Go see for yourself. One on every table would be so cute. For the wedding cake.. you'd need a larger one with those roses scooched over just a little so you could add these...

Isn't this a pretty centerpiece? From WeddingComeTrue...

I adore this bouquet. Photo from MyFavoriteFlowers

Fairytale Wedding: The Food...

I had to add this image in here just because this is my fairytale room. I LOVE it. It's little tea shop called Crown & Crumpet. Take a virtual tour at DelightfullyEngaged...

Aren't these cute? They are Cherry Chocolate Chip Scones from SuchPrettyThings...
These shrimp tea party sandwiches are very dainty fair... From WenhamTeaHouse...

These cookies would make amazing party favors, but it would be a crime to wrap them up. Aren't they beautiful. Find them at DaintyDelightsInc.. with a lot of other amazing cookie designs.

Fairytale Wedding: The Wedding Party...

Since I am married.. and closer to being the mother of the bride than the bride.. I think about what I would wear at a wedding for one of my daughters.. AND.. I would wear THIS vintage dress from FemaleHysteria! I love it.
Love this set of pretty necklaces from BridalPartyJewelry
which would go fantastic with these shoes

Fairytale Wedding: The Bride

It's easy to creat a fairy princess look on Etsy. There are so many beautiful things... like this vintage dress from TheVintageStudio $112.00 and that's a pretty great deal for a wedding dress too.

Martinez Valero Heaven on Zappos for $87.00
Erté Vermeil Aquamarine Prehnite Chalcedony Earrings by CrysallisCreations
This little wrap from MyMemento is beautifully made. What a pretty addition to this ensemble of lovely things.

Fairy Tale Wedding: The Decorations...

This is a wall of origami paper cranes behind this cake. The cranes are strung with fishing line and tiny knots. This is a wonderful DIY project if you have moneths before your wedding. (Image from StyleMePretty)...

or there are origami artists on Etsy like this NikkiCrossApplesauce who can add origami to your big day.

But a wall of origami or crepe paper flowers would lovely. And how about these tulle poms... so cute!
They are from shortcakepartypicks on Etsy...
